The countdown to summer and that beach holiday is on so it’s time to get in shape so you can look your best when your squeeze into your teeny tiny bikini (or trunks for the fellas).
Many people are attending Zumba® Fitness classes as a fun way to exercise, and we thought we would give you a helping hand so you can master some of the moves from the comfort of your own living room. Don’t say we’re not good to you!
Zumba Education Specialist Donna Giffen will show you how to work on everything from the merengue to a belly dance so that you can look fabulous when you hit the beach.
In the video player above, she demonstrates how to do the basic merengue, and with Zumba® Fitness, you don’t have to be a master of dance or the king or queen of co-ordination.
As Donna explains, it’s all about putting your ‘flavour’ on the basic steps and making sure you smile – simples!
When exercising, always include an easy five minute warm up and cool down and finish with some stretches for the main muscle groups including the legs, chest, back and arms.
