The next step in our Zumba® Fitness get set for summer series is the cumbia sleepy leg.

Don’t be fooled by the name; there’s no chance of snoozing during this move.

In the video player above, Zumba Education Specialist Donna Giffen demonstrates the cumbia sleepy leg, showing how to work your hip and master the hand movements.

Remember, before any exercise, make sure you do a five minute warm-up.

Zumba® Fitness classes are an increasingly popular way to get fit and these short video guides should help you master the basic steps.

Post exercise, remember to cool down and finish with some stretches for the main muscle groups including the legs, chest, back and arms.
