The countdown to Christmas is on – are you ready for the party season?
Zumba® Fitness classes are an increasingly popular way to exercise and we thought we would treat you to short video guides to help you master some of the steps.
Before you get ready to shake your funky thing, make sure you do a five minute warm-up. You can watch a warm-up guide here.
Today’s move is the merengue beto shuffle – and it’s a goodie.
In the video player above, Zumba Education Specialist Donna Giffen demonstrates how to master the shuffle in simple steps.
The important thing to remember about Zumba® Fitness is that you don’t have to be a dance master or the king or queen of co-ordination to work out.
As Donna explains, it’s about adding your own ‘flavour’ to the basic steps.
Donna has also demonstrated how to perfect the basic merengue and the merengue mambo, so you're sure to be the star pupil at your Zumba® Fitness class.
Post exercise, remember to cool down and finish with some stretches for the main muscle groups including legs, chest back and arms.

We will be bringing you more Zumba® Fitness steps with Donna in the coming days so keep checking stv.tv for the latest moves.
