Barbara Windsor has said that she would like to play a role in Coronation Street.
The EastEnders actress told The Sun that she would like to swap the pavements of Walford for the cobbles of Weatherfield and said that the move would "add to her list of achievements".
Barbara said: "I kind of have worked with most people I'd want to.
"I suppose I wouldn't mind having a go in Coronation Street for a bit, you know, see how they do it."
The 71-year-old has played Peggy Mitchell since her arrival in Albert Square in 1994.
However, Babs is not the only actor to reveal that they would like a part in Corrie.
Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has revealed that he would consider a move from Hollywood to Manchester if producers offered him a role in Coronation Street.
The 30-year-old actor told The People that he is a huge fan of the Weatherfield soap.
He said: "I am in London at the moment talking to producers so who knows."
