Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has said that she thinks that Simon Cowell would make a "great dad".
Amanda, who has a three-year-old daughter with husband Chris Hughes, told Now Online that the music mogul should reconsider his views on having children.
Cowell split with his long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour in November and at the time it was reported that the couple had parted because Simon did not want to start a family.
However, Holden has said that she thinks that Simon is brilliant with children.
Amanda explained: "He goes on about how he doesn't want to get married, doesn't want kids - and I completely understand.
"He has a playboy lifestyle and has a great time.
"But it's a shame because he'd make a great dad. He asks children brilliant questions - he'll say, "Right, which one of you is the naughtiest?" - and they're all so doting on him."
