Taylor denies Dancing on Ice feuds

Jessica Taylor has denied reports that there was any bitchiness between the Dancing on Ice contestants.

She told New! magazine that claims in tabloid press that the celebrities had found Ray Quinn to be "smug" were totally untrue.

She explained: "I don't know where that came from because it's not how anyone on the show feels. Maybe people just assume that's how he's going to be because he's very confident and so talented.

"But he's not cocky in the slightest. He's really encouraging to everyone and is a really bubbly, fun guy to be around."

Jessica also explained that the rift between Roxanne Pallett and Zoe Salmon had been the result of a misunderstanding.

She said: "It all stemmed from something that was said on This Morning after Roxy was evicted. I don't think she meant to aim anything towards Zoe at all. I think she was just frustrated with Jason Gardiner and things were misconstrued."

The 28-year-old also revealed that her confidence was knocked by the two occasions when found herself in the skate-off.

She confessed: "If you do well with the judges and you're near the top of the leader board but still end up in skate-off, it means you're not getting as many votes as the others. You think, "I must not be as popular as the other people."

She added: "You never know why people vote. It's partly a personality contest, and different people appeal to different sections of the public."
