Ray Quinn has said that he was more nervous about performing in the Dancing on Ice final than he ever was on The X Factor.
The youngster, who was runner-up in the 2006 X Factor final to Leona Lewis, told The Sun that Dancing on Ice was the most nerve wracking challenge he has ever faced.
He said: "This is the toughest competition I have ever done."
The 20-year old said that it had been agonising waiting with pro partner Maria Filippov to hear from Phillip Schofield if they had won the coveted title.
He said: "I was so nervous. I really wanted to win this competition.
"I had my head buried in Maria's hair, thinking, `Please, say a name.'
"When he said my name I was blown away. I couldn't believe I'd won. It couldn't have gone more perfectly for me."
Phillip revealed on The This Morning show the reason behind the massive pause after Jason Gardiner accused him of being cruel for delaying the news.
Phillip said: "It was 31 seconds. I have to wait until they (producers) tell me to. I have to wait until they say cue Phillip."
