Jason thinks Ellery will be the next to go

Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner has said that he believes that Ellery Hanley will be the next contestant to be voted off the hit show.

The Aussie judge told the Sun: "He'll go next week. He's been consistently in the bottom two and he really doesn't have it.

"The viewers have lost as much interest as we have. He's the most boring thing on ice. He has not improved since week one.

"It must be soul destroying."

Ellery survived last week's skate-off with Todd Carty but was savaged by Gardiner for his disco-themed performance.

Speaking on the show, Jason said: "You're a bit of a disco disaster. You have major timing issues. You do look like you're enjoying yourself which is good to see but your timing is still an issue.

"Maybe you too need some dance classes. You have to start stepping up and paying attention to detail. You look like your playing the hokey cokey. Leg in Leg out."

The outspoken choreographer also admitted that he had mixed feelings over the departure of Todd Carty.

Gardiner explained: "He was tragic. It was his time to go at least two weeks ago. But it was bittersweet, a little bit of the show's soul was lost on Sunday night.

"We liked Todd but we always said that if he ever got into a skate-off situation we could never put him through.

"You can't spend 25 seconds standing still while your partner skates around you."
