Martin Kemp could be gearing up for a Gold-en opportunity if rumours that he’s to appear on this year’s Celebrity Big Brother are true.
The Spandau Ballet bassist and former EastEnders soap villain is being tipped for a stint on this year’s show on Channel 5.
According to The Sun, Kemp is getting ready to star in the celebrity version of the fly-on-the-wall show when it kicks off next week.
Other celebrities also tipped to be singing up include former Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan, Simon Cowell's ex Jasmine Lennard, Corrie legend Julie Goodyear, and comic Julian Clary.
So Solid Crew's MC Harvey – who was involved in a Twitter spat with Cheryl Cole – is also rumoured to be signing up. We wonder if he’d speak about his very public argument with Geordie’s national treasure?!
Celebrity Big Brother kicks off next Wednesday August 15 at 9pm on Channel 5, just two days after the main series of the show finishes.
Big Brother will wrap up on Monday August 13, when the live final sees one of this year’s housemates steal the big prize, following a summer of teasers, twists and turns.
