It’s won’t be long until Strictly Come Dancing is back on our TV screens and this year things could be about to get a lot tougher for the competitors, if Craig Revel Horwood’s predictions about hew judge Darcey Bussell are correct…
He’s not known for mincing his words himself, but Craig has predicted the celeb hopefuls are in for a rough ride when former ballerina Darcey gets stuck into them.
Speaking to the Telegraph’s Mandrake column, Craig said: I think she’s going to be a bit of a bitch, really.
“I hope she doesn’t out-bitch me - that’s my biggest worry. If that happens, I’ll have to bring it on.”
The Australian judge added: “We haven’t met up yet, but I know her. She’s going to be a lot tougher, a lot harder.”
Darcey impressed show bosses when she was a guest judge back in 2009, and when Alesha Dixon quit the show to join Britain’s Got Talent, she seemed like a natural replacement.
As a world renowned ballet dancer, Darcey has the technical expertise to share with the contestants – and it sounds like she’s going to be super tough with them!
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 will return later this year, and as well as having a new judge on the panel, there have also been some changes made to the professional dance team line-up.
So far there have been a number of stars whose names have been mentioned in connection with this year’s show, including former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and former This Morning presenter Fern Britton.
