Little Mix have said that they find it a compliment when they compared to artists like Beyoncé.
The X Factor 2011 winners recently unveiled their new single Wings, which is to be in shops on August 26.
Perrie Edwards told Pop Prince: "It's a compliment to be compared to a Beyoncé kind of sound, or Christina Aguilera kind of sound.
"It's just amazing to be compared to those amazing divas, so yeah it's really nice."
Jesy Nelson added: "We hope that we surprise people with our music, as when you're on X Factor you have to perform so many covers and when you come out of the show you have to find yourself as an artist.
"I definitely think we have with this single and we're really happy with the way it portrays Little Mix."
The girl group revealed that Beyoncé and Michael Jackson were the influences for Wings.
Asked if the single was a good representation of their debut album, Jesy said: "Definitely, I think so. We love it and we're really proud of it."
Leigh-Anne Pinnock continued: "There's a mix of everything really. There's all different styles."
Jade Thirlwall added: "There's old-school and lots of group harmonies with modern beats. It's pretty exciting."
