Peter has made plans to take Simon on a trip of a lifetime to Lanzarote, and as Carla tries to talk him out of it, he remains firm that he’s doing what is best for his son.
Carla heads back to the factory to sort things out before she joins Peter on his travels, but when a desperate Leanne starts quizzing her about Simon’s whereabouts, will she relent and tell her where Peter and Simon are?
Meanwhile, Tommy and Tina are convinced that Jason and Maria would make the perfect couple, and along with Kirk and Marcus they hatch a plan to get the pair together.
Setting up a dinner date at Maria’s flat, one by one everyone leaves, so Maria and Jason are left alone. Will the pair get together or are their friends barking up the wrong tree?
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Kirsty manages to wrap Tyrone around her little finger, determined to have full control over her man. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen…
And poor Mary has been enjoying her games of chess with Roy so much that she starts to develop a crush on him. Oh dear…
