What a night of drama on Superstar, as former X Factor and G4 star Jonathan Ansell was allowed to stay in the competition… before later being sent packing, along with nine other wannabe rock gods.
That left the remaining heavenly hopefuls to take on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s next task, and it was a goodie: the boys had to create a music video. Get ready to swoon girls as it looks like One Direction and The Wanted should be quaking in their talented little boots. Well, kind of…
First up, we have Caspar and the gang rocking Lady Gaga’s Edge Of Glory – would the Queen of pop approve or was it just plain gaga? Take a look and see what you think.
Niall and his group channelled pop kings Take That but will Andrew have the Patience to sit through their comedy take on the video? Watch it now.
Bruno Mars’ Grenade is certainly an explosive track but did our wannabe Jesus lovies make an impact with their version of the hit single? Have a sneak peek.
Hankies at the ready Superstar lovers – our beautiful boys have recorded Christina Perri’s Jar of Hearts. Complete with can crushing and dramatic stair running, it’s certainly a sight to behold.
Finally, taking on Max George and The Wanted boys, our last group of handsome holy wannabes performed Without You. The boys have dirty faces (we’re not sure why) and look a little like they’re posing for a catalogue shoot gone wrong, but hey, it’s certainly creative! Oh and there are white vests and men running along a beach – definitely worth a look.
The Lord (Webber) has some interesting thoughts on the videos, but what do you think of our hopefuls’ work? Who do you think should be rocking out and who do you think is more Harry Hill than Harry Styles? Use our comment system to tell us.
