Chris Moyles has lost so much weight that he may need to wear a fat suit for his upcoming role in Jesus Christ Superstar, it has been reported.
The Radio 1 DJ is set to play the part of King Herod in the musical extravaganza, and extra padding may be needed for him to fill out his costume.
The show’s composer and producer Andrew Lloyd Webber told The Sun: “The thing is we signed Chris and now he’s gone and lost all that weight.
“I think we are going to have to get him a fat suit. Herod was a big man, so it looks like it will be a fat suit.”
Andrew cast Chris in the musical after seeing him on Celebrity X Factor, with Mel C and Tim Minchin also set to appear in the new production.
The search for a star to play the lead role of Jesus in the upcoming production will begin this weekend when Superstar starts on ITV1 and STV on Saturday, July 7.
Amanda Holden will host the new talent show, while Dawn French and Jason Donovan will be joining Andrew on the judging panel.
