Coronation Street star Ben Price has revealed that his soap character Nick Tilsley knows that Leanne Barlow isn’t in love with him.
Nick and Leanne got back together on the soap last week, but Leanne is on the rebound after getting her heart broken by the love of her life Peter.
Speaking on This Morning, Ben revealed why Leanne wants to be with Nick when she doesn’t really love him.
“I’ve got a business, I don’t drink, I’ve got my own bistro, I can do a great cappuccino – I’m stability, aren’t I?
“She’s got a child now, and I said, ‘Fine, I’ll take you, I’ll take the child’. Nick knows she loves Peter, but that’s part of the drama, isn’t it?”
Ben also revealed that he doesn’t think Peter has got over Leanne yet, despite the fact he cheated on her and left her for Carla Connor.
Coronation Street is on STV from 7.30pm on Mondays and Fridays and from 8.30pm on Thursdays.
