Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has praised her new co-star Marc Baylis.
The actress, who plays Eva Price, has said he is "brilliant" to work with.
The pair have been filming together, as their characters Eva and Rob Donovan are tipped to have a romance.
Rob is the long-lost brother of Carla Connor (Alison King), who arrives in Weatherfield after some time in prison.
Tydesley told Digital Spy: "I don't want to give away too much, but Rob is going to be the fresh meat on the street and Eva is certainly attracted to him, because he does have charm and power.
"There's definitely something about him - he's very, very charming!"
She continued: "I actually did the screen tests when they were casting for Rob. Marc stood out for me, and I did let the casting panel know that.
"There's just something about him - there was a way that he went about creating the character that absolutely clicked.
"Marc is brilliant to work with - he's such a good laugh and we get on really well, which has made things a lot easier.
"When you're doing intimate scenes or you've got to pair up with somebody, it does help when you get on with them in real life. It's been great and it's working really well."
