New X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is thrilled to be taking up the vacant seat on the panel.
She will be joining returning judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.
She told PA: "I'm so excited to join the UK X Factor family. It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.
"I can't wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists."
Last year, Nicole was a judge on the US X Factor and has been a guest judge on the UK version of the show.
It is claimed that she had signed a deal worth around £750,000 to join the team.
The first few rounds of auditions had a number of guest judges, including Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Anastacia and Rita Ora, join the panel.
Discussing signing Scherzinger to the show, ITV executive Peter Fincham said: "Nicole will bring her wealth of experience, both as a solo artist, and as a member of a group, to this year's Judging panel."
