Big Brother: Scott leaves the house over sudden bereavement

Big Brother housemate Scott Mason was allowed to leave the Channel 5 reality TV show following a sudden bereavement.

The broadcaster granted the History student leave from the new series of the iconic reality show after the "death of somebody important in his life".

Channel 5 bosses have not revealed whether the bereavement relates to a relative or friend of the 20-year-old for privacy reasons, says Digital Spy.

However, sources revealed that Scott came back to the reality TV house complex in Elstree, Hertfordshire, after "a short time" away.

Scott recently hit the headlines when he confessed that he has a crush on fellow housemate Arron Lowe.

Scott said: "I'm gonna love Arron for the rest of my life. And don't worry, I'm going to bring all that 'gay', I'm going to bring that out.

"We've had our little exchange of glances - I know what's going on in that mind.

"It's just me in this little imaginary world I'm in, 'Oh, Arron loves me! I love Arron - let's get together'."

He added: "Oh yes, one flick of the hair and a smile at me and that's it. I'm just like a little giggling schoolgirl. Well I'm like that most of the time anyway."
