Little Mix delay release of new single Wings

Little Mix are to delay the release of their next single by a month.

The X Factor star were to release Wings in the UK on July 22.

However, a listing for the track on their official store now states it will be available from August 19.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the girl group's debut album will be released on September 3.

If Little Mix to release their album in September it will be the first time that an X Factor winner has released their CD before a performance on the X Factor live show in October.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall recently revealed that they helped to co-write their new single [i[Wings[/i].

Jade told the Daily Star: "We've been doing lots of writing and recording so we're getting there with the album.

"We're trying to work with as many people as possible so we can learn from everyone."

Perrie added: "We want to get a different feel on each song so every one is a bit different.

"We have worked our bums off since X Factor but we have such a laugh. I love being in a group - we're always messing around."
