Robert Pattinson has revealed that he googled reviews to find out the critics' reaction to his latest film Cosmoplis.
Directed by David Cronenberg, the drama is based on a novel written by Don DeLillo.
It was released last month at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
Pattinson admitted that he immediately logged onto the internet to find the reviews.
He told the Guardian: "It's funny. It got such divisive reactions in Cannes.
"I was sitting in the car on the way back from the press conference, refreshing, refreshing, refreshing [the internet] on my phone."
Pattinson added that his experience with Cosmopolis has been different from his other films.
He said: "I've never really done anything where people have hated it, or really, really read into it.
"It's so different to other films, and that's one of the reasons I wanted to do it."
