Gary Barlow has praised the Queen for helping him to "fall in love with music" once more.
The X Factor judge told a Sunday newspaper that preparing for the Diamond Jubilee concert had rekindled his passion for music.
The Take That star was tasked with organising the star-studded celebrations to honour the Queen's 60-year reign.
He told the Daily Star Sunday: "Travelling all over the Commonwealth to produce the official single has reminded me what I love about music.
"You kind of forget because it becomes about money and you can get sidetracked in the business side.
"But meeting so many inspirational people who escape from their lives by playing music with instruments made out of bits of rubbish has reminded me just how special it is."
Barlow told the newspaper that the Diamond Jubilee concert will be the pinnacle of his music career.
He added: "This is the biggest achievement for me, ever."
