One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has splashed out on a luxury mansion.

Sources told a Sunday newspaper that the boyband star has spent £2.5million on a four-storey luxury home in north London.

An insider told the Sun on Sunday that the singer wants to invest his earnings in property.

A source told the newspaper: "Louis's purchase may seem extravagant but it's a safe investment.

"The property is relatively new and given its location it is unlikely to lose value.

"He's got his head screwed on so he will keep it in good nick."

They added: "Louis isn't the sort who'll throw a house party and let his friends wreck the place."

The luxury pad is said to have six-bedrooms, five bathrooms, four reception rooms and massive garden.
