The Wanted singer Max George has suggested a collaboration with rival band One Direction.
The singer believes that it would put and end to rumours of a rift with 1D if both bands worked on a charity single.
When asked if One Direction would be up for it, Niall Horan told Digital Spy: "It would be just like Blazin' Squad!
"See you at the crossroads, crossroads, crossroads! That was a tune.
"It would be funny to see that, but we'll see what happens. I haven't heard anything about that yet."
Meanwhile, One Direction are used to working with other artists having worked with X Factor's Savan Kotecha and Ed Sheerna on their debut album.
The lads are also working with other singers on their second album.
Horan said: "Tom from McFly has just written a song for us and it's very, very good! He wrote a song on the last album too and we love his style.
"We've got another writing session with him soon which should be fun.
"We're also working with Ed Sheeran again - when we get back from America it's straight to the studio with him!"
