Olly Murs excited about Soccer Aid, One Direction US tour

Olly Murs has said he is excited about the summer, as he takes part in Soccer Aid and supports One Direction during their US tour.

The X Factor star took part in the 2010 Soccer Aid with organiser Robbie Williams.

Speaking on Daybreak, Murs said: "I've been looking forward to it for the last two years, I last did it two years ago.

"t's an amazing week actually from the start - getting to the hotel on Tuesday, it's like a proper football team. We meet up, we train every day... there'll be a bit of banter in the changing room, it's a good week."

Chatting about which celebrity he is most looking forward to meeting, he replied: "Will Ferrell is the one I'm looking forward to the most, Woody Harrelson I think is there, there are so many, that's great.

"I don't know how they manage to pull the strings, but I think it's because it's such a great charity, UNICEF, I think the fact that everyone who's going to be involved with it will be just hoping to drive more people to donate and stuff like that.

"It's going to be a great night, on a personal level and also for the charity. It's great, do you know what I mean? I'm a massive football fan anyway as it is, so to actually get a chance to play at Old Trafford where some of the best players in the world have played is great."

Murs also admitted that supporting One Direction during their US tour was a "great chance".

He said: "I think I'm flying out on Monday morning, flying off to Canada to start the tour, it's going to be nuts.

"I've been over there the last couple of weeks. I've doing some writing sessions and getting involved in it but you know, I've always said before, going to America is great and it's a great chance for me, but there's no pressure in it, it's going to be good."
