One Direction are in the US on the first leg of their sell-out headline tour.
However, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan still made time to meet a few of their fans.
The lads performed a surprise gig in a small 50s-style LA diner for a small crowd of fans.
Harry revealed that he liked being able to play to smaller audiences.
He told Extra: "When we play to intimate crowds, I think a lot of our songs are really fun and high energy, so when we do it acoustic it's nice to slow it down and have less people and make it a little bit more personable."
One Direction performed their hit single What Makes You Beautiful for the fans in the diner.
Meanwhile, fellow X Factor star Olly Murs is to support the boyband during the tour.
Speaking on Daybreak Olly said: "I think I'm flying out on Monday morning, flying off to Canada to start the tour, it's going to be nuts. I've been over there the last couple of weeks. I've doing some writing sessions and getting involved in it but you know, I've always said before, going to America is great and it's a great chance for me, but there's no pressure in it, it's going to be good."
He continued: "The single is released on the 29th over there, which is quite close. But it works differently over there, it all works on airplay and it's driving it. But, I mean, it's going to be great to be on the tour with the [One Direction] boys as well."
