Strictly Come Dancing 2012 could see a very special contestant signing up to take part in the show - Bruce Forsyth’s wife.
Lady Wilnelia Forsyth has revealed that she’d love to take part in the popular ballroom dance progamme, which her husband hosts alongside Tess Daly.
And it seems that she’s got Brucie’s support for the role, with the TV legend dubbing his wife, a former Miss World, a “marvellous” dancer.
Wilnelia hails from Puerto Rico, and Bruce thinks that as many of the moves on the hit TV show originate in Latin America, his wife would be a natural at perfecting them.
"She's a great dancer," he said, adding: "The other stuff might be difficult for her, but the Latin, oh, she's marvellous."
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts later this year, and while no names have yet been confirmed, Bruce refused to rule out the possibility of his wife joining the show, saying: "Well, you never know."
However Lady Forsyth admitted that while it’d be a dream to come true to put on her dancing shoes and hit the famous floor, there could be problems with her joining Strictly.
"I'd love to but I think it would be difficult, you know, with him being the host. It'd be very difficult,” Wilnelia said.
"I don't think he'd be able to take all the judges' comments."
Bruce also admitted that he’d hate for people to dub him “biased Bruce”.
