Olly Murs has said he wants to take over from Steve Jones as host of the US X Factor.
Murs thinks that his cheeky Essex personality would go down well with American audiences.
Last year, the 28-year-old presented The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack.
He told the Daily Star: "I think Simon Cowell should ring me up. I'll be the new host, no problem. I had a great time when I did it in the UK.
"I bet they're going to get an American, someone like Ryan Seacrest.
"He'll warm the audience up for me to come over and do it."
Later this month Murs travels Stateside to support One Direction during their 23-day tour.
Olly said: "I'm trying to forge a career in America."
Meanwhile, Britney Spears and Demi Levato have been announced as judges joining Simon Cowell and LA Reid on the panel of US X Factor.
