Dancing On Ice judge Louie Spence admits he “absolutely loved” being a judge on the glamorous ice skating show this year, but isn’t sure if he’ll be making a return when the series comes back in 2013.
Speaking to stv.tv at the recent Girls Day Out show in Glasgow, Louie said: “You never know. They haven’t come to me yet, we haven’t negotiated anything.
“Tomorrow is another day, this is showbusiness darling and as quick as you’re in you’re out.”
Louie clearly adored his time on the ice dance show, during which he joined Robin Cousins and Katarina Witt on the panel, judging celebrities such as eventual winner Matthew Wolfenden and Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter.
“I absolutely loved being Dancing On Ice,” Louie revealed. “The great thing is a lot of people know me from Pineapple Dance Studios and Louie Spence’s Showbusiness, and that’s one side of me, where I’m at work and I have great fun.
“But it was great to do Dancing On Ice because everyone could see that yeah I can have a laugh and I can mince around with everyone, but I actually know what I’m talking about."
Louie continued: “The thing is it was nice for me to critique on something I’m really, really passionate about which is dance. I think it’s nice for people to see also there can be a more serious side to me. There is a serious side but I do love fun.”
Louie joined the panel for the 2012 series of Dancing On Ice following a shake-up which saw Emma Bunton and Jason Gardiner leave the panel.
