The Little Mix ladies are used to nail-biting talent show finals, having won The X Factor last year, so it was a real treat for them to attend the Britain’s Got Talent final and sit back and enjoy the show, rather than sweating it out as part of the competition.
And do you know what? They LOVE BGT, especially champs Ashleigh and Pudsey.
Jesy Nelson said: “I adored all the contestants and there was such variety. My favourite act was Ashleigh and Pudsey.
“I’ve really enjoyed all the guest performers too. Tulisa was amazing and did us all proud. She met us afterwards and we all went clubbing - she’s still very much there for us. We’ve just filmed our first video. Our new single is a mix of pop, hip-hop and R & B. Our life has completely changed since winning The X Factor, but we haven’t left our b-girl roots behind.”
What about the rest of the finalists? Anyone catch the lovely ladies’ eyes?
Jade Thirlwall said: “Jonathan and Charlotte absolutely nailed it. I got goosebumps listening to them and almost cried.
“I thought Ryan O'Shaughnessy was ok during the semi-finals but he was outstanding in the final. I was mesmerised by his performance and would definitely buy his album.”Oooh – lucky Ryan!
Ashleigh better keep Pudsey on a tight lead when Perrie Edwards is around. The Mixy madam wants to steal the pooch. So does Simon Cowell – form a queue Edwards.
She said: “I think he is the cutest thing ever, Pudsey would be a laugh to hang out with – I reckon he’s a little party animal.
“Saturday’s Final was the strongest ever in BGT’s history. When Jonathan and Charlotte played you could literally hear a pin drop – they sooo owned the audience.
“I can’t wait to meet Pudsey. I’m going to dog-nap him. Step aside wannabe Lassies – Pudsey is taking over! I’m also amazed at how well Pudsey was able to concentrate with all the cheers from the crowd. We’re all crazy for The Loveable Rogues as well – we can’t stop singing their songs.”
Ah the Loveavle Rogues – lots of ladies love those cheeky chaps, including Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
“I see the Loveable Rogues selling lots of records,” she said, before adding: “And I also loved Ashleigh and Pudsey. I have a pug called Harvey who I can’t get to do any tricks, so I want to meet Ashleigh to give me tips on how to train him. It’s been great to see Simon again too. We’ve met with him before. Waiting outside his office to meet him is like being back at school – he is the school principal after all. Fortunately, he loves our new single – phew!”
