Britain’s Got Talent final: Susan Boyle stuns and Diversity wows

Two former Britain’s Got Talent finalists returned to tonight’s final to show the acts how it’s done. First on stage were Diversity who gave a jaw dropping high octane performance in black and white skeleton-esque suits.

Dancing to electronic music at first, the boys gave a flawless performance and were given a standing ovation by the judges after they finished with a beautiful passage of classical music for which they were joined on stage by a pianist.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after the performance a breathless Ashley Banjo said of the show: “What an amazing line up and excuse the pun but there is tonnes of diversity in it as well which I love.”

He added: “Since winning this show it has been amazing. This has been the fourth time we’ve performed on this stage and since then we’ve gone on to do the most amazing things.”

The dance troupe were winners of the third series of Britain’s Got Talent have had a strong influence on the show, with more and more dance troupes auditioning and the standards rising ever higher. This year there were two dance acts in the final, welsh group Nu Sxool and teenage ballroom dancers Kai and Natalia.

Britain’s Got Talent legend Susan Boyle, who came second to Diversity in the third series of the show also returned for a breathtaking performance of Madonna’s You’ll See that received a standing ovation from the judges.

Wearing an elegant black gown and surrounded by atmospheric smoke and string players the Scot showed off the amazing voice that has won her worldwide acclaim.

SuBo became a global sensation after appearing on the show and has gone on to sell over 17 million records worldwide. Watch her amazing first audition at the top of this article.
