Boy band The Wanted picked opera singers Charlotte and Jonathan as their stand-out act, after the boys performed on Britain’s Got  Talent tonight.

The group, who were on the show performing their new single Chasing The Sun, said they were impressed by the pair’s stunning performance of Carusoh earlier in the evening.

Charlotte and Jonathan were one of nine acts battling it out on tonight’s second semi-final show, in a bid to win a place in Saturday’s grand final.

And the duo’s dream came true when they found out they had secured a place automatically, after getting the most votes from the general public.

Dance act Kai and Natalia, who one of the top three favourite acts on tonight’s second semi-final also landed a coveted spot on Saturday’s final, after the judges opted to put them through over Scottish singer Paige Turley.

Charlotte and Jonathan and Kai and Natalia join dog act Ashleigh and Pudsey and male choir Only Boys Aloud in the final, with more acts to be announced following the remainder of the semi-final shows this week.
