Katie Price has compared herself to the late Elizabeth Taylor after admitting she falls in love "so fast and so deep".

The reality star has recently announced that she is engaged to Leandro Penna, who will be her third husband.

Katie made the comparison with eight-times divorced Taylor while discussing her engagement.

She told OK! magazine: "I've finally given in to Leandro's Latino charm and said yes to his proposal of marriage.

"I was watching a programme about Liz Taylor recently and thought how similar we are, falling in love so fast and so deep."

She added: "If life isn't for living and loving, then what's it for? And anyway, three is a lucky number."

Price met the Argentinian model at Sir Elton John's post Oscar's party in 2011, but they split briefly in October.

By February they couple had reunited with Penna moving to the UK from his homeland.

Price's first marriage was to Peter Andre in 2005 and after two children together they divorced in 2008.

She then married Alex Reid in a ceremony in Las Vegas but they separated after only 14 months together.
