Britain’s Got Talent star Graham Blackledge has a message for Simon Cowell

Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent unearthed some unique talent and one of the more unusual acts to capture the hearts of the judges (well, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams at least) was Graham Blackledge.

The 42-year-old got off on the wrong foot with Simon Cowell, when the grumpy music mogul decided he didn’t like Graham’s smile – charming.

Luckily, the audience and other judges loved his rendition of La Bamba, complete with organ accompaniment, and they danced along to the fun filled performance.

Alesha said: “I think I enjoyed more listening to you talk than I did listening to you play, if I’m being honest… I quite enjoyed it in some weird way.”

Simon remained unconvinced and dubbed the performance “hideous.” He said: “It’s like eating vanilla ice cream with a sausage. They don’t go together.”

Graham was undeterred and quipped, “have you ever tried vanilla ice cream with sausage?”

Coming in with more constructive criticism, comedian David Walliams suggested: “Have you ever thought of just doing stand-up comedy?

“You are a very funny man…I’d love to see you again. Yes!”

With two yeses, the delighted Preston piano man was through to the next round but he has a message for Mr. moody Cowell – watch the video player above to find out what it is.

With that, we’re off to order bangers and, erm, ice cream in the canteen. Tasty!
