Terry Duckworth’s return to the cobbles hasn’t been a happy one, especially when his plans to open a lapdancing club were exposed, leaving Weatherfield’s residents fuming.
The dodgy Duckworth’s business plans are soon scuppered this week, however, when Kirsty plays detective and finds out what he’s really been up to.
Things kick off when Kirsty and Tyrone turn up at the town hall looking for evidence of any illicit dealings and, as they rifle through documents, Councillor Peake and Terry turn up and catch them in the act.
Things go from bad to worse when Kirsty gets her hands on Terry’s bank statements and finds out that Councillor Peake was taking bribes, and she promptly arrests him. Looks like the lapdancing club might not be going ahead after all…
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Kevin is desperate to salvage his relationship with Sally, but with his ex adamant that she can never love baby Jack, he comes up with the idea of asking Pam and Bill to look after his son on a semi-permanent basis.
Sally is shocked that Kevin would give up his son for her, but he’s adamant that he’s doing the right thing. This can only end in disaster…
Meanwhile, Julie heads for her first scan but her excitement soon turns to worry when it becomes clear that all is not well.
Don’t miss Coronation Street on STV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm tonight.
