One Direction fans in New Zealand mistook a radio producer for a member of the band.
Guy Parsons is older and taller that the boy band members but he still managed to fool thousands of teenage girls.
The producer was wearing a beanie and dark glasses when he left the Auckland hotel after interviewing Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne.
The 23-year-old was then mobbed by female fans who chased him down the street.
Some fans eventually realised he was not one of the band but others were not so perceptive.
Parson admitted that he enjoyed his moment of fame even though it was brief.
He told the Sunday Star Times: "I said, 'I've got you, I'm not one of them', but they still wanted photos.
"I don't think I could do that every day, but for the three minutes I was posing and running away from the girls I liked the attention."
One Direction performed two shows in Auckland on Saturday and one in Wellington on Sunday.
