Paige Turley moved her grandfather, and many viewers (ok, we admit to having the hankies out) to tears when she performed a beautiful version of Skinny Love on Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent.
At just 14-years-old, this little lady from Scotland has a big voice and the judges were impressed with what they heard, with Simon Cowell branding her “fabulous.”
Paige is getting used to life in the spotlight and today she looked every inch the star as she joined Kate Garraway and Dan Lobb on the Daybreak sofa.
Revealing that if she gets further in the competition, she plans to wow the judges with a different style of track, Paige also spoke about Britain’s Got Talent’s most famous find – Susan Boyle.
She said: “It would be amazing to follow in Susan Boyle’s footsteps and make Scotland proud. She’s got such a huge career.”
Last year, Scottish singer Jai McDowall won the competition – are we set to see another Scottish hopeful take the BGT crown this year?
Will Paige follow in Susan’s oh-so-successful footsteps? Time will tell, but for now, she’s loving every moment of the BGT experience and is delighted to have made her grandpa – her biggest fan – proud.
Who will wow the judges this week? We’ll find out when BGT airs at 8.30 on Saturday.
