X Factor star Wagner has been giving One Direction hints on how to keep safe.

The reality star has been giving the lads advice on self-defence and disguise.

One Direction band member Niall Horan, told the Daily Star: "Wagner used to teach our Harry Styles karate.

"He could break you in half with his eyes. He's a black belt, he was good."

One Direction have found themselves being mobbed in America, but Wagner has been given then tip on how to escape the fans.

Styles said: "You can do stuff without screaming girls, pick the right times to go out and not be recognised.

"Be clever about it, use disguises."

Liam Payne added: "A man who used to like a disguise was Wagner. He used disguises on the X Factor tour.

"Wagner used to have a hood and tie it so he looked just like Kenny from South Park.

"He had a bandana over his nose so you could just see his eyes."

Niall added: "He looked like a convict, he got pulled over by the police and he said: `Look, it's me - Wagner.'."
