Four of Strictly’s biggest stars – including 2010 champion Kara Tointon with her professional dance partner Artem Chigvintsev – are returning to Scotland this June.
They’re arriving for Strictly Presents…Dance To The Music, an unleashed performance to demonstrate what they can do when there are no judges and no rules.
Couple Kara and Artem – who have set tongues wagging ever since they fell for each other on the dance show – are also joined by Strictly professionals Kristina Rhiannoff and Robin Windsor.
The quartet will be performing to music from TV’s resident Strictly band, led by musical director Dave Arch.
Together they visit:
· Edinburgh Usher Hall – Monday 18th June, 2012
· Aberdeen Music Hall – Tuesday 19th June, 2012
· Glasgow Royal Concert Hall – Wednesday 20th June, 2012
Organisers promise that the music and dance spectacular “will keep your feet tapping and your hips swaying long after the curtain falls”.
Audiences will be taken on a lively journey through dances ranging from an American Smooth to a Viennese Waltz – with some surprises promised for along the way.
The tour will mark the first time that the entire fifteen-piece Strictly band have performed together live away from the studio.
Tickets for all three Scottish shows will go on sale on Friday 30th March at 9am via gigsinscotland.com or by calling 08444 999 990.
