The Dancing on Ice 2012 final kicked off in spectacular style with Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean performing an extra special version of their iconic Bolero.
As well as the spectacular skate, super soprano Laura Wright and operatic tenor Noah Stewart’s delivered a beautiful vocal backdrop.
The performance was even more dramatic when flames burst out from around the ice – quite a sight.
Torvill and Dean first performed the Bolero at the 1984 Winter Olympics, where they became the highest scoring figure skaters of all time (for a single programme).
The Bolero has since gone on to become a highlight of the Dancing on Ice final, with celebrities desperate to perform their version of the dramatic routine.
Tonight, Chico Slimani, Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden will battle it out for their chance to skate the Bolero – but only two will get the chance to showcase the routine in a bid to be crowned Dancing on Ice 2012 champ.
Who will it be? Team Matthew, Team Jorgie or Team Chico?
We’ll find out as the Dancing on Ice final continues on STV and ITV.
