Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon is finding it is not easy being on the same panel as Simon Cowell.
The singer decided to quit Strictly Come Dancing after she was asked by Simon to join Britain's Got Talent.
However, she received a verbal put down from the music mogul last week when he asked: "Who are you?"
Alesha says she is perfectly capable of holding her own against Simon and is prepared to deal with anything he has to offer.
She told the Daily Star: "I'm not going to do anything different. I'm just going to be myself.
"You know me, I stand up for myself all the time. I don't like bitchiness and I don't like controversy and all that negative stuff."
She added: "I can't pretend to be something that I'm not. All I can be is honest and myself. That's what I've always done."
The row involved dance group Lil' Diamondz, who won Alesha's Street Dance Stars on CBBC in September, and then auditioned for Britain's Got Talent[/i.
Alesha told the troupe she was proud of them and the "hadn't let her down" but Cowell said: "That's a silly thing to say, Alesha. Sorry, who are you, anyway?"
Meanwhile, Dixon insists she is concentrating on finding a new star rather than rowing with her fellow judges.
She said: "We're not rivals. We're together, we're a team. We're looking for a star and that's a nice feeling.
"I like the fact [i]BGT celebrates the best of British. This show has everything.
"Not only do I love dancing but I love singing, I love dancing dogs, I love comedy, I love everything entertainment.
"This is the one show that enables and encompasses all that. So the idea of seeing so many acts is such an exciting prospect."
