Robert Pattinson is worried he will be "too old" to star in another Twilight film if Stephanie Meyer decides to write another installment.
The actor has played vampire Edward Cullen in the adaptation of Meyer's Twilight books since 2008.
The fourth book in the series has been split into to film releases with Breaking Dawn - Part2 due to be released later this year.
Meyer has hinted that she would consider writing another book in the series.
However, 25-year-old Pattinson worried that he will be too old to play the ever-youthful Cullen.
Speaking at a press conference at the Berlin Film Festival, he said: "I'd be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I'd probably be too old.
"I'm already too old. But yeah, it'd be kind of interesting."
He added: "They would probably re-cast me with one of my competition."
