Alexandra Burke: Does not regret judging. Pic: ITV
Alexandra Burke has insisted that she does not regret standing in as a guest judge on The X Factor.
The former winner replaced Kelly Rowland who was off sick during the Halloween special.
Burke was mocked by fans for her "OK dot com" and Declan Donnelly branded her performance as "bloody awful".
However, Alexandra told Fabulous: "That's showbiz, and I don't regret it for a second.
"I don't care what Gary [Barlow] said afterwards - during the show he was telling me I was being brilliant.
"And Louis [Walsh] was egging me on to keep going. I was being put on a seat next to Gary Barlow for God's sake. He's hot. I told him I fancied him."
Chatting about the public criticism she suffered earlier in her career, Burke added: "I was totally obsessed. I would only take notice of the bad things. I'd browse forums and look at these awful things that were written.
"But you have to grow a thick skin if you want to survive in this business.
Saying that, I've had to deal with a lot of stuff this year.
"It's been a learning curve - I've had to prove myself to a new record company.
"Some things didn't turn out how I wanted them, but I guess I don't have a right to moan."
