Dancing on Ice judge Katarina Witt has something to get off her chest

New Dancing on Ice judge Katarina Witt has revealed that she will be covering up more in the future, after her low-cut tops and dresses on the show caused a frenzy among fans.

The sexy former Olympic skating star has worn a series of figure-hugging, cleavage-enhancing outfits since joining DOI at the start of January, but didn’t realise quite how much was on show.

Viewers have been taking to Twitter in their droves, commenting on how “distracting” Witt’s cleavage is – and after she appeared on Sunday night’s show dressed down in a demure outfit, some assumed that she had been warned to cover up by show bosses.

Katarina was appearing on This Morning when host Ruth Langsford asked if the judge had been warned off showing off too much of her “marvellous assets”.

“No but of course you read the comments and I have the dresses specially made, and it’s funny it’s the next spring collection, it’s one of my favourite designers in Germany,” Katarina said.

“The thing is with those dresses when you try them on in the dressing room you’re standing up, and when you sit down everything slides down further.

“I should have watched it. I’m watching out now. I hope they still listen to me, to what I have to say and they don’t just look at the dress!”

Normal This Morning host Holly Willoughby, who used to co-host Dancing on Ice with Phillip Schofield, herself faced a backlash from viewers after wearing a series of low-cut dresses on Dancing on Ice, but refused to change her style.

Her fondness of figure hugging outfits led to viewers dubbing the presenter ‘Holly Willobooby’.

When new host Christine Bleakley took over presenting duties, she even joked that she wouldn’t be trying to compete with her predecessor, telling The Sun: "I did like the way Holly always wore her long dresses and it suits the occasion here. I'll probably go long on Sunday.

"Maybe a bit of sparkles but no cleavage! I'm lacking in the Holly Willobooby department. I'll keep it simple."
