Jorgie Porter skated her way into the hearts of the Dancing on Ice judges after getting the highest score of the series so far.

The actress and her dance partner Matt Evers gave a stunning Valentine themed performance to Alicia Keys’ Falling, and Jorgie was speechless when the judges gave her a score of 26.

Matt was full of praise for Jorgie, who has been tipped as the favourite to win the show after continually topping the leader board, and he is amazed at how much she has progressed in the competition.

“She’s an incredible actress and you need that to be the complete package on the show,” he said. “I don’t think she realises sometimes just how good she is.”

The judges were mesmerised by the breathtaking performance, and Louie Spence gave Jorgie the first 9 score of the series. He raved: “It brought a tear to my eye. It was so beautiful and I believed that you two were in love.

“Anyone can see that that’s an absolutely stunning and beautiful performance. I would have given you a 10 but I’ve got to hold back somewhere, darling!”

Katarina Witt and Robin Cousins were equally impressed and each gave Jorgie a score of 8.5. Both judges were stunned at how much emotion had gone into the romantic routine.

“I almost forgot to look at the skating skills because you really draw so much attention,” Katarina said.

“How you touch each other, how there is romance, how there is tenderness and how you are so much involved with every fingertip. You really touched the people with your performance.”

Robin added: “It’s not only about seeing it but feeling it, and it was breathtaking. Beautiful.”
