Adele: Has started singing again. Pic: Rex Features
Adele has sung in public for the first time since her throat surgery.
She sung her hit Rolling In The Deep in a newly-released clip from her upcoming 60 minutes interview.
Adele is to make her stage return at the Grammys this weekend but gave 60 minutes host Anderson Cooper a preview to air before music awards.
Cooper told 60 Minutes Overtime that Adele sang the worldwide hit a cappella.
They added that she had to because "she had really long nails on and she couldn't play the piano with her nails".
Discussing Adele's power as a singer, Anderson added: "I don't think anybody whose vaguely conscious has not heard Adele's songs.
"I actually jog to [i]Rolling In The Deep' every day."
Since her operation to remove a benign polyp on her vocal chord, Adele has refrained from singing live.
In a previously-released clip from interview, Adele told Cooper that the pain of the haemorrhaging polyp felt like "someone put a curtain over [her] throat".
