Emmerdale star Natalie Robb has revealed that she doesn’t have time for romance and will be too busy to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The Scottish actress, who plays Moira Barton in the soap, won’t be expecting a romantic meal out and will instead be spending the day at work.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Natalie said: “I think I’ll be spending Valentine’s Day working but I’m not really bothered about that. I’m not going to be lonely.
“If I do go out, I’ll go out with the girls. A lot of my friends are also single.
I’ve been working like crazy since before Christmas and all this year, it hasn’t really stopped, so I’ve been a bit boring.”
Natalie’s storylines have been really intense in recent months, with Moira having an ill-advised affair with village bad boy Cain Dingle, leading to the breakdown of her marriage.
Next week, things go from bad to worse as Moira and John are involved in a horror car crash, leaving them both fighting for their lives.
“[The crash] was spooky to shoot because it was on the moors, dark and the weather was terrible,” Natalie revealed.
“It took three nights and it was a big budget. They bought five Land Rovers, stripped them and painted them the same colour. Some were used for the crash stunt and one for other shots.
“After the first night I had bruises on my ribcage!”
