Jorgie Porter topped the Dancing on Ice judges’ leaderboard last Sunday night, scoring an impressive 24 points.
With her gravity defying lifts and stunning skating skills, it’s difficult to imagine what else Jorgie can thrown into the mix to up her game… but she has plenty of moves up her sequinned sleeve, according to professional partner Matt Evers.
The handsome US champion skater told stv.tv: “She says ‘I want to do this lift and I want to do this’ and she’s doing things now we’ve never seen female celebs do before, which we’re saving for the longevity of the programme, but it’s amazing.”
Matt also admitted he has “fallen in love” with the bubbly blonde as her enthusiasm and dedication to the show is infectious.
He said: “She’s an incredible actress first and foremost, she’s an incredible person, not jaded by the industry by any means.
“What I love is she’s infectious but also she’s just this sponge she wants to soak this in so much and enjoy the ride.
“Like going into wardrobe and costuming at the studio, she lights up…”
Jorgie may be top for now but she faces tough competition from fellow soap star Matthew Wolfenden, who scored 23 points last week, despite struggling with an injury.
Sebastien Foucan continues to improve week on week, as does X Factor star Chico.
