John and Moira Barton’s marriage has hit the rocks in recent weeks after Moira’s ill-advised affair with bad boy Cain Dingle, but things go from bad to worse for Moira when her husband asks her for a divorce.
Things kick off tonight when John tries to tell Adam and Holly about his new relationship with Chas, but it doesn’t go down well when he realises that the kids are on Moira’s side.
When Moira arrives home, John drops a bombshell on her and tells her he wants a divorce, leaving her devastated, especially when she finds out that stunning Chas knew about it before she did.
While Moira hits rock bottom, things between John and Chas heat up as they share a steamy kiss. Oh dear, this can only end in tears…
Elsewhere in the village, Katie movies in with Declan and is happy to be the lady of the manor.
Meanwhile, Amy’s worried about Val and Pollard and wonders what Val is plotting.
