X Factor winner's Little Mix have had the release date of their debut album pushed back.
The girlband landed a record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label after winning the competition in December.
It was reported that they girls would be releasing their first album in March 2012.
However, the girls have confirmed that the label wanted to put more effort into the CD and the release date has been pushed back.
Perrie Edwards told Daily Star: "We've been getting involved in the writing so it's taking a while to finish the album.
"We want to release it as soon as possible but not until we're 100% happy."
She added: "We don't want to rush it and end up flopping."
However, X Factor runner-up Marcus Collins is going ahead with the release of his debut single Seven Nation Army in a few weeks' time.
He is to release the single of March 4, followed by his eponymous debut album on March 12.
The album is to feature tracks written by himself and former X Factor mentor Gary Barlow.
