Coronation Street is about to go all CSI as twisted Frank Foster is set to get his comeuppance when he is murdered.
Corrie fans were left shocked when evil Frank was found not guilty of raping Carla Connor during last week’s trial, and with so many enemies, the list of suspects is endless.
Evan naïve Sally Webster turns against the soap villain after she sees him for what he really is.
Weatherfield’s top forensics team will have their work cut out for them as they try to identify the rapist’s killer after his lifeless body is found in the factory.
Andre Lancel, who plays Frank. said: “His true colours are finally showing through and no-one is safe in his scheming head.
“But he doesn’t for one moment think his life might be in danger – he is too arrogant and too cocky to think that could ever happen to him.”
Two endings were filmed for the recent trial scenes to keep everybody guessing as to whether Frank was found guilty or not guilty, and Andrew revealed that he relished the chance to get his teeth into such meaty storylines.
“It was brilliant. I’ve always wanted to do a big courtroom drama,” he revealed. “It was very exciting keeping people guessing and guessing.”
The actor plans to take a break from acting after his intense storylines and wants to get back into singing.
